Most teenagers do not spend their free time volunteering, planning and attending leadership conferences, and hosting events for character development. Members of the NSA Bahrain’s Keystone Club; however, spend countless hours focusing on academic success, career preparation, and community service. The Keystone Club is a teen leadership program associated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Recently, the Keystone Club at NSA Bahrain has made history by achieving Legacy status.

When asked how they like Bahrain, they typically groan, “There isn’t much to do around here.” At first glance, Bahrain may seem like a boring duty station with too many rules. In reality, the land of the sand is teeming with opportunities.

Exercising can become more of a burden than a stress-reliever at times. Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) wants to encourage everyone to work out and have fun while doing it. MWR’s Group X Classes are an essential way to do both. MWR Fitness is making changes hoping to introduce more of the base population to the group fitness routine.
NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, Bahrain -- Being a Military dependent is hard work. A big sacrifice most spouses have to make is leaving their job every time Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders pop. Many Military and Department of Defense (DoD) spouses arrive in Bahrain completely jobless and for some it can be financially devastating. Aside from a loss in secondary income, it can also lower a spouse’s quality of life. Living in Bahrain is challenging and being able to focus on your career keeps your mind off the summer heat, the frustrating traffic and uncomfortably high produce costs.
