Group Exercise Classes

Navy Fitness is bringing you a variety of fitness classes, including Yoga, Cycle, Zumba, Functional Fitness (TRX), NOFFS SES, and NOFFS Metabolic. All classes are free, with the exception of Aikido. See below for class descriptions and the next week’s lineup, or download the schedule under “Downloads.”


Welcome to the Art of Peace: No matter how old or fit you are, you are welcome to join our class. Aikido is a way of life. It is not only physical training but another way to understand how to manage a conflict without hurting anyone and without running away. 

Boot Camp

Boot Camp training often commences with dynamic stretching and tunning, followed by a wide variety of interval training including lifting weights, objects, pulling rubber TRX straps, push-ups/sit-ups, plyometrics, and various types of fun fitness. Many other exercises using weights and/or bodyweight, similar to CrossFit routines, are used to lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, increase strength, and help people get into a routine of regular exercise. Sessions usually finish with yoga stretching.

Boot Camp H20

If you are looking for a workout that will maintain or increase your fitness level with less impact on your joints, come try out Boot Camp H20! This high-intensity class is designed to improve cardio conditioning by alternating strength, balance, and core training segments. Water exercise is an excellent modality for cross-training and gives knees and backs a break from land-based cardio workouts. Non-swimmers are welcome as life jackets available upon request and participants have the choice of working in chest-deep water as well as deep water.


Recognized as one of the best low impact cardiovascular workouts available. This class combines high-intensity cardio with strength building resistance, fun and energetic music. 

Power Yoga  

Power Yoga is a fitness-based, vigorous vinyasa practice. It has many benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction. Some classes will combine free weights with vinyasa sequencing and cardio to intensify each pose while incorporating strength-training moves like squats, lunges, bicep curls and others.

Climbing Course

The objective of this class is to teach adequate top belay skills to participants. There is an evaluation to ensure participants meet all criteria for the expected performance and that they are competent to perform climbing activities without direct assistance.


Yoga is the cosmic rhythm connecting the trinity of mind, body, and soul. It’s a holistic combination of exercise, breathing, diet, relaxation, and meditation. Join us for a powerful session of vinyasa flow, or a relaxing session of yin and restorative yoga. Vinyasa yoga means a series of poses synchronizing with the breath, flowing with integrity from posture to posture with breath and doing counterposes to neutralize the active stretch. Yoga is based on Chinese Taoist thinking which means a relaxed, stable, unmoving hidden aspect. Yoga is restorative, restful, comfortable and healing, yet working on the intense stretching of your active and passive muscles.
