Read a book that sheds light on America''s beginnings, with a word "beach" in the title, about friendship, with a word "Labor" in the title, about a grandparents love, the book "The Recess Queen" by Alexis O'Neil, or a book that was published in July/August/September. Once you have finished a book about one of the topics above, show us the book that you read and be entered into the quarterly drawing for a NEX gift card. |

Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC)
Details: The Bahrain School and Child & Youth Programs (CYP) have counselors available to meet with families and students to help address the following: Parenting and family issues, communication challenges, stress and anxiety, sadness, grief, and loss and everyday life issues. Youth Sports Flag Football and Volleyball Season & Smart Start Flag Football
Season: October 26 - December 20, Cost: $60 per child, Leauge & $30 per child, Smart Start,
Time: 3:30-4:30p.m., Location: Memorial Field (Flag Football), Youth Gym (Volleyball)
Flag Football and Volleyball Registration: August 17 - October 9
Details: Practices will be on Monday and Wednesdays and Games will be on Saturday Mornings.
Flag Football Ages: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 & 11-Up
Volleyball Ages: 10-13 & 14-18
Smart Start Flag Football Season: November 2 - December 7
Registration: September 14 - October 26

Half Day City Tour

Details: Adore picturesque stops and visit the splendors of the Al Fateh Grand Mosque, National Museum, Qal'at Al-Bahrain Fort, World Trade Center (photostop) & Bab Al Bahrain on this 4 hour tour. Base clothing policy must be observed.
