Tiny Tots Storytime
Time: 10 - 11 a.m., Location: MWR Library
Details: Join us for stories, music, dancing, and craft! Parent/Guardian is required to sit with child/children.

Sewing for Beginners
Time: 3 – 4 p.m., Location: MWR Library, Cost: Free, Ages: 10+
Details: Join us on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month. Learn to hand sew basic stitches and fun embroidery techniques to make your wardrobe your own! Supplies will be provided.

Adult Reading Challenges
Date: July 1 - September 30, Location: MWR Library
Details: This Quarter’s Reading Topics Are: Independence Day, Summer, Friendship Day, Back to School, Labor Day and Grandparents Day. Read a book that sheds light on America''s beginnings, with a word "beach" in the title, about friendship, with a word "Labor" in the title, about a grandparents love, the book "The Recess Queen" by Alexis O'Neil, or a book that was published in July/August/September. Once you have finished a book about one of the topics above, show us the book that you read and be entered into the quarterly drawing for a NEX gift card.

Cup Competition

2025 Captain's Cup Pickleball Double
Date: Saturday, August 16, Time: Starts: 9 a.m., Location: Main Gym (Court A & B)
Details: Register at the Fitness Center or Gym by Tuesday, August 12 by Noon. Tournament rules and schedule/Bracket will be sent out registered email the day after of deadline.

2025 Captain's Cup 30 & Over Basketball League

Details: Discover the Tree of Life (Shajarat-al-Hayat, as it is called in the local language), a lonely mesquite tree that stands in the heart of Bahrain's desert for over 400 years. Breakfast at Al Bander Resort to follow. *Transportation provided by MWR from the NSA 1 pedestrian gate.*

Half Day City Tour
