ABOUT THE JOB This position is located within the Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR), NSA Bahrain. The functions of the liberty Center and the MWR program are a base-wide outreach recreation program targeting single service members, geographical bachelors of NSA personnel offering opportunities for participation in well-rounded recreational activities. The incumbent of this position assists patrons in use of the facility by issuing/receiving equipment to authorized users, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes , instructs customers and monitors proper and safe usage of equipment, as needed. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilitates and machinery. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. Conducts classes and walks all facility rooms to provide guidance or referral as appropriate. Plans conducts, publicize and arrange support for special events, social activities; tournaments and related functions. Assists with publicity of programs and events assists with marketing of posters, flyers and other promotional material. Assists with the inventory of property. Monitors equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment. Assist in developing a comprehensive recreation program for single service members that includes scheduling, creating calendars, organizing, execution of trips and tours, publicizing, directing, conducting and evaluating both recurring and non-recurring activities. Incumbent must assist in the coordination of activities among military command authorities and departmental personnel. The Liberty program encompasses various different and unrelated processes, methods, and procedures. Incumbent is required to maintain telephone and personal contact with representatives of special interest groups, local community officials and civic organizations to ensure proper dissemination of MWR events. Responsible for coordination and driving of transportation to support recreational activities. Responsible for office duties, filing, coping, answers phones, messages and uses fax, typewriter, computer, adding machine, and copier. Maintains daily cash register log and completes any financial reports required in conjunction with the cash register.

BG-04: GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess (3) months of any type of work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to
perform the duties of position as indicated above, or (2) experience that provided a familiarity with the subject matter or
processes of the broad subject area of the occupation OR EDUCATION: High school graduation or equivalent.
