ABOUT THE JOB:
This position serves as the Marketing/Publicity Clerk for the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department at NSA Bahrain. The incumbent collects, assembles, prepares, and disseminates information through print and/or other media concerning MWR and N9 programs, activities and events. The incumbent helps to coordinate presentations, prepares newsletters, flyers, banners and related marketing/publicity information; assists the Marketing/Publicity Manager to send these flyers, banners, email, calendars, and other special advertisements throughout the base. He/she helps to develop and produce various internal media, including employee information newsletters, organizes information, and proof reads appropriate material; produces camera-ready copy using desktop publishing software; assists in writing press releases for the base newspaper and for potential commercial sponsorship customers; reviews and tracks publications for information dissemination and coverage; maintains press release and press clips photo files; organizes, tabulates, and manages primary research data for surveys. The incumbent enters survey data; assists in communication and promotional requirements, including developing exhibits, brochures, calendars, and posters; helps to plan and organize work, and manage internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. He/she effectively supports the Navy’s Equal Employment Opportunity policies, and ensures compliance with fire, safety, and other environmental issues.

BG-06: GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess one (1) year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills mentioned above AND/OR EDUCATION: 2 years above high school (Provide Transcripts)
