ABOUT THE JOB
This position is located within the Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) warehouse, Naval Support Activity Bahrain. The incumbent duties receives and selects stock, receives items at designated loading locations; unloads items with the use of material handling equipment. Warehouse stock in location designated on storage data requests form, adds secondary location when necessary. Initiate documentation for data entry into the computerized supply system. Signs completed to show receipt. Incumbent must operates forklift, reaching tier capable of lifting 2,000 to 10,000 pounds and 168 inches high to move, load, transfer, stack/unstack and palletize various items from one location to another. Maintains and monitors vehicles in a manner to standards required for use by MWR staff and for annual inspection by the transportation authority of the host government.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

-Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license for up to a 10 K forklift within 6 months employment.
-Ability to work at a rapid pace for long periods at a time.
-Ability to lifting and carrying supplies, materials and equipment’s that weigh up to 70 pounds.
-Ability to work inside or outside in areas that are hot and humid
-Applicants other than Bahraini/Arab Nationals must be registered in LMRA.
-Applicants whose sponsors are exempted from LMRA should provide valid proof of exemption.
-A Current Good Conduct Certificate dated within 3 months of this announcement will be requested at the time of Job Offer.
